The other day, Google employee John Mueller answered on Twitter a question regarding link rejection. In particular, whether I need to add those domains that are not displayed in the Search Console to the Disavow file, but they were found by tools such as Ahrefs, Moz, Majestic, etc.

In response, Mueller said that “some tools find all kinds of irrelevant links, but there is no need to put each link in a Disavow file.”

Recently, Google has started to have less dependence on the Disavow file, and there have even been rumors in the industry that the search engine plans to back out this tool. Google can now detect most of the artificial links automatically.

Currently, the search engine recommends using the Disavow file only in case of manual sanctions.
